The Brick
Hello everyone! This is what the bricks will look like. Bricks are now available from any ICSAS Interactor at the price of RM 10 each. Basically what you can do when you buy a brick, is write your initials/name, which school you are from, and your message to the Indonesian victims. Also as you can see, there is a section on the right side of the brick that you can tear out. You should tear out this part before you hand over the left side of the brick back to the Interactor. This small piece contains a serial number that you need in order to claim your prize(if you are lucky enough to win one). Let the brick buying begin!

S.O.S - There is still hope.
ICSAS this year hopes to shine the light on disaster stricken countries that have not been receiving the aid that they need. These countries that have been crawling back to the light will be helped up to stand and run. This year, ICSAS will be answering the distress signal of a neighbor; Indonesia.
In the light of the recent Japan disaster, the world has shown unity and has come together to help Japan recover. Millions of people across the world have thrown in their aid, energy and prayers. With the earthquake, tsunamis and horrible conditions in Fukushima, Japan has shown the world how strong a country they are and have shown tremendous recovery. But what about other countries? What about countries that are unable to mimic the strength and bravery of Japan? Even with all of the help they have been getting, countries like Indonesia are still struggling from past natural disasters. They are sending out their S.O.S signals. And it is time that we answer them. Our goal this year is to remind you guys that there are neighboring countries out there that have a harder time recovering and that need as much help as Japan.
This is why we have chosen to aid Indonesia. ICSAS is working alongside Habitat for Humanity Malaysia to raise funds to be given to Habitat for Humanity Indonesia.
How are we raising funds?
We are appealing to everyone out there to help support our cause by buying our ‘paper bricks’. Each school in ICCPJ, that is SMK Sultan Abdul Samad, SMKL Bukit Bintang, SMK Assunta, SMKP Sri Aman, SMJK Catholic High School and SMK La Salle PJ, will be assigned a template of a brick less house, and your job is to support your school along with this cause to fill up your respective schools house. With each brick you buy, you will be helping the unfortunate and will also stand a chance to win a prize. But it gets more interesting, your ‘brick’ will also serve as your number for a lucky draw. Everyone wants nice things, don’t they?
How much is a brick?
RM 10.
“Why so expensive?!” Because the prizes you’d win are to die for! But remember, you are helping the unfortunate and that’s what Interact’s objective is all about.
Where do we get them?
These ‘bricks’ will be given to each of your respective presidents and you can purchase it from them.
This project will span for a little over a month. Stay updated guys!!!
